Drop Off & Pick Up
The drop-off and pick-up of centre members is permitted at the main doors of the Terraces of Baycrest/Kimel Centre.
Accessibility
The building is wheelchair accessible and equipped with ramps, an elevator, and widened hallways. All signage includes braille. Water bowls are available for guide dogs. All
virtual programs include closed captioning. Other accessibility services and/or devices can be provided upon request. Should you wish to talk about your accessibility requirements, please email: kimelcentre@research.baycrest.org
Public Transit
Take the 7: Bathurst Street North bus from the Bathurst subway station on the Bloor/Danforth line to Baycrest Avenue, then walk 10 mins to the Kimel Centre.
Take the 109-B or C: Ranee North bus from Lawrence West Station. This will take you through to Ranee Avenue. Exit the bus at Baycrest Avenue.
Parking
There are a few parking options available:
Baycrest: Members can park in the main Baycrest parking lot located at 3560 Baycrest Street for a daily flat rate of $14.00. Members can also purchase an H-Pass from Cashier’s:
- 5 day pass = $35.00
- 10 day pass = $70.00
- 30 day pass = $210.00

Terraces: Members can find parking in the Terraces of Baycrest parking lot located at 55 Ameer Avenue for INCLUDE PRICES.
St. Margaret Catholic School: Our community partner, St. Margaret Catholic School has a limited number of parking spaces available for members at no cost.
Please observe parking signage and park only in designated areas.
Coat Room
As a member you have access to the coat room wherein you can put your coats, umbrellas, boots etc. You can put your belongings in this room on your own or you can request a volunteer to do so for you.
Lockers
Lockers are available for member use. You can request a locker key from Reception/volunteer. The locker is available to you during the length of your program, after which you must return the key to Reception/Volunteer. Keys cannot be reserved prior to class.
Food & Drink
Baycrest is certified kosher by the Kashrut Council of Canada (COR). Non-kosher food is not permitted in the Kimel Centre.
Members are encouraged to bring portable water bottles. There are two water refill stations in the centre.
Members can purchase snacks via the mobile snack cart. The mobile snack cart is available at 10:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm, and 4:30pm. For more information on the snacks available, please consult the menu.
