Shuttle Bus Information

A complimentary shuttle bus service is available for Kimel Family Centre members and staff, running between Baycrest Main Campus and our stop at Baycrest Terraces. See schedule for departure times.

Parking & TTC

Public Transit

Take the 109 – Ranee North bus from Lawrence West Station. This will take you through to Ranee Avenue, getting off on Baycrest Avenue and Ameer Avenue. Walk North to The Baycrest Terraces.

The 400 Lawrence Community Bus does pick-up and drop off at the Baycrest Terraces/ The Kimel Family Centre. An important note: Baycrest Terraces/The Kimel Family Centre are currently titled as the Baycrest Wagman Centre in the route schedule found here.

Community Bus – Monday, Wednesday and Thursday

Neighbourhood midday service operated on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, connects seniors’ residences with local points of interest. Flag down anywhere along route.

Parking

Parking spaces are extremely limited. We strongly encourage members to take the TTC, walk, or carpool.

Parking at the Baycrest Terraces (55 Ameer Avenue)

  • Please note, many of the parking spots at the Baycrest Terraces are reserved for residents, family members and staff leaving very limited visitor spots available. We strongly encourage members to park in the main Baycrest lot or seek parking in the general neighbourhood where permitted.

    We ask all members and visitors to please observe parking signage and park only in designated areas.

    Drop Off & Pick Up

    Drop-off and pick-up is permitted at the main doors of the Baycrest Terraces/Kimel Family Centre, located by the Terraces parking lot, off Ameer Avenue.

    Lost & Found

    The Kimel Family Centre takes no responsibility for lost or stolen goods. Lost and found goods not claimed after 10 days will be donated to charity or disposed of.

    Lockers

    Lockers are available for your use. You can request a locker key from reception prior to the start of your class. The locker is available to you during the length of your program, after which you must return the key to reception. Keys cannot be reserved prior to class.

    Food & Drink

    Baycrest is certified kosher by the Kashrut Council of Canada (COR). Members are not allowed to bring food in from outside the Kimel Family Centre, but we can accommodate people with health conditions requiring special diets – just speak to a staff member before bringing food in.

    You are encouraged to bring portable water bottles. There are two water refill stations in the centre.
